There’s a level of travel… John Mayer

A memory. 

Walking out of my resort in Kho Phangan the day after full moon in the evening, leaving my friends by the pool. I walked along the beach barefoot for an hour just by myself. I remember sitting on the sand by some driftwood, watching the tiny crabs pop in and out of their little sand holes, watching the sun go down to my right. I felt perfectly happy and safe, just sat in my dress that I bought out there, completely at ease with my own company.

Wanderlust 

Okay I really, really want to go to Indonesia this summer now! Just been doing some research and it looks like an amazing place with so much culture, there’s over 17,000 islands for this one country!

I’ve already applied to an internship in Bandung, and I’m waiting to hear a date for a skype interview.. gah just want them to get back to me!! I’ve more or less been offered a summer internship in Cambodia too, but Indonesia sounds so much better, and it’s not the rainy season there.. I wouldn’t mind getting some sun. On the other hand, I’ve also just scared myself silly looking at the types of jellyfish that are found around Indonesia…
